These Terms of Service govern your use of DevKnow — our platform, tools, and content. Please read them carefully. By accessing or using DevKnow you agree to be bound by these terms.
Important: By using DevKnow, you agree to these Terms of Service in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
By registering for an account, accessing, or using any part of the DevKnow platform — including our website, mobile applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service") — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using DevKnow on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and references to "you" include both you personally and the organisation. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use DevKnow. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
DevKnow is a developer-education and knowledge-sharing platform that provides interactive coding courses, articles, tutorials, community forums, project-based challenges, and a suite of productivity tools designed for software developers at all experience levels.

DevKnow reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. DevKnow shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
To access most features of DevKnow, you must register and maintain an active account. When creating your account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update this information promptly if it changes. DevKnow accounts are for individual use only unless you have subscribed to a Team or Enterprise plan.
Password & Account Security
You may not create accounts using automated methods, impersonate another person, or use names that are offensive, misleading, or that violate another party's trademark. DevKnow reserves the right to reclaim usernames for any reason, including inactivity for more than 12 consecutive months.
DevKnow is a professional learning community. You agree to use the Service only for lawful, constructive purposes and in a manner that respects other users and our platform's integrity.

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination at DevKnow's sole discretion, without prior notice or refund.
The DevKnow platform, including its logo, design, software, original course content, assessments, and documentation, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by DevKnow Ltd.
Your Content: When you post or submit content (code snippets, forum posts, articles, comments), you retain ownership of that content. However, by submitting, you grant DevKnow a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to host, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and adapt your content solely to operate and improve the Service.
Platform Content: DevKnow's course videos, written lessons, exercises, and other proprietary materials may not be downloaded, reproduced, distributed, or used outside the platform without our express written permission. Fair-use excerpts for educational commentary are permitted provided you credit DevKnow.
All trade names, trademarks, and service marks displayed on DevKnow are the property of their respective owners. Use of any DevKnow trade name without written authorisation is prohibited.
DevKnow offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Billing
You authorise DevKnow to charge your payment method on file. If payment fails, we will retry up to 3 times over 7 days.
Refunds
Monthly plans: no refunds after the billing date. Annual plans: pro-rata refunds available within 14 days of purchase if requested.
Price Changes
We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax in your jurisdiction. We collect VAT for EU customers automatically.
To cancel your subscription, visit Account → Billing → Cancel Plan. Cancellation stops future charges; you will retain access until the end of the current billing period.
Either party may terminate the user-service relationship at any time. You may close your account at any time through your account settings. DevKnow may suspend or permanently terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, any applicable law, or if doing so is necessary to protect the safety of our community.
Grounds for termination by DevKnow include, but are not limited to: repeated or severe violations of the Acceptable Use Policy, fraud or chargebacks, providing false registration information, or being subject to a legally binding court order requiring us to terminate your access.
Effect of Termination
Disclaimer of Warranties: DevKnow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that (a) the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) any defects or errors will be corrected; or (c) the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
Liability Cap
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevKnow's total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the amount you paid to DevKnow in the 12 months preceding the claim. DevKnow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any disputes arising from these Terms.
Dispute Resolution: Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at legal@devknow.io to attempt informal resolution. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute within 30 days of receipt of written notice.
Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis only, not as part of a class or representative action. You waive your right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
DevKnow reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email to the address on your account and/or by displaying a prominent notice on our platform. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the date of the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your binding acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree with any changes, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account before the effective date.
We recommend keeping your account email up to date so you never miss important legal notifications. You can update your email in Account → Settings → Profile.
